The technical department of drilling rigs consists of 29 people, 5 engineers and 21 technicists. With unremitting efforts, we have obtained more than 10 national patents and have independently researched more than 10 new designs. Many of them have filled the blank of petroleum industry of China.

We are capable of researching and designing various land drilling rigs, offshore drilling rigs, and the associated main parts of drilling rigs.

We are capable of providing drilling rigs which can be used in complex geologic environment and climatic condition.

On August 2002, we invented the first cluster well drilling rig RT40L with vertical raising mast of China, which has been working in Liaohe Oilfield since 2002.

We invented the first foldable substructure in the world and equipped it onto cluster well drilling rig RT40CJD. Then, they were delivered to Dagang Oilfield on May 2004.

We invented the first polar helicopter drilling rig RT50LDB（－45℃～45℃） of China and delivered to Russia on July 2007.
